AWA West will host the first Festival of Writing on Saturday, June 21st. Inspired by last year's celebration of Pat Schneider's How the Light Gets In: Writing as a Spiritual Practice book launch and supported by the Pat & Peter Schneider Fund at Pacific School of Religion (PSR), the all-day event will feature longtime AWA workshop leaders offering writing workshops, and sharing their ideas about craft and the AWA method on the PSR campus in Berkeley. Pat Schneider will speak at a free public event in the late afternoon and hold a lunchtime conversation for AWA affiliates. The fee is $75 for the day's activities.
